SEAS Services & Membership Information
LISTSERVES
SEAS provides four listserves for members and associates. A listserve is a large mailing list that particpants can both receive from and send to everyone else on the list. SEAS listserves are hosted by NPO Groups, a business that specializes in helping organizations engage people in their work and network more effectively with their partners. [See www.npogroups.org ]
SEAS Listserves:
SEAS Mailing List – Postings relate to primarily local environmental issues, and occassional national or global issues that impact the Shuswap. Currently, there are 278 particpants including SEAS members and SEAS associates
B.C. Forestwatch – Postings focus on issues relating to forests in B.C. The approximately 80 particpants include forest activists and professionals from throughout B.C.
SEAS Members – An exclusive service for the SEAS members with email addresses. This list will now be where action alerts, SEAS newsletters and in-depth analysis will be provided.
SWA llist – A list specifically for the leaders of Shuswap Watershed Alliance member organizations to share information, tactics and strategie

SEAS MEMBERSHIPS
As of January, 2011, there are 127 paid-up members of the Shuswap Environmental Action Society, including over 100 lifetime members. Membership fees help support SEAS activities and projects, including; listserves, forums, wilderness tours, educational materials and this website.
